Our first racing sailboat design commissioned by a timber merchant friend. A few years later, he became boat builder of classic American powerboats. He was the first to get mills to slice 4mm khaya (acajou) veneer in Turkey upon Tanju's request. This material is now widely used and easily available after many of our designs based on it. This boat was bought by Turkish Naval Academy and is still racing succesfully under their flag.
